High Specificity Option for Formaldehyde Sensors
Mar 19 2018
Dart Sensors announces the development of a new semi-specific option for their range of formaldehyde sensors.
Electrochemical sensors frequently have moderate to poor specificity, which often sets limits on their range of applications. The formaldehyde sensor in particular has suffered particularly from a high (~ 50%) sensitivity to ethanol, which has put a cap on domestic applications. Now with a new formulation available in sensors and pre-calibrated sensor modules, sensitivity to alcohols has been dramatically reduced.
The Dart formaldehyde sensor range is now the world's best seller, mainly due to the great success of the pre-calibrated module which has swept the market for domestic multi-sensor devices in China since its introduction 12 months ago. Modules are assembled using Dart original sensor components by Prosense Technologies, based in Shenzhen, China, and subject to quality audit by Dart Sensors staff.
