Moisture in the oil used in the gearboxes on Blackhawk helicopters is critical as is moisture in the hydraulic oil from the Navy’s onboard weapon systems. One of the major problems facing the military’s waterinoil analysis is the high humidity level in the immediate environment where the analysis is conducted.
