Maximize Uptime with the New Sievers Innovox Toc Analyzer

Oct 31 2008

Boiler water, cooling water, and industrial process water with aggressive sample matrices such as brine are problematic for most Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzers. Poisoned catalysts, clogged sample lines, and shattered glass often result, causing frequent system maintenance and expensive downtime.

To help companies like yours maximize instrument uptime and reduce costs, GE Analytical Instruments designed the new, robust Sievers InnovOx Laboratory TOC Analyzer. The InnovOx uses an innovative Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) technique that achieves greater than 99% efficient oxidation on the most difficult sample matrices.

Consequently, the Sievers InnovOx can run hundreds of TOC samples continuously without any recalibration, system maintenance, or replacement parts. The InnovOx also removes problematic sample matrix contamination at the end of every analysis, eliminating salt and oxidation by-product buildup in the reactor, tubing, and valves.
The InnovOx can measure TC, TIC, TOC and NPOC across a 0.5 to 50,000 ppm detection range. It is ideal for measuring organics in process water or monitoring effluent for wastewater release compliance. It is easy to use, and offers 6-month calibration stability and Web-based remote monitoring.
