Chromatotec® Group and InProcess Instruments sign exclusive distribution partnership

Jul 05 2019

InProcess Instruments (IPI), distinguished manufacturer of quadrupole mass spectrometers (QMS) for online gas analysis for research and industrial processes in Germany, and Chromatotec® Group, expert in online gas analysers development, are delighted to announce an exclusive distribution partnership for the territories of France, Italy, Benelux, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan.

The distribution agreement has taken effect on January 1, 2019 with immediate benefits to InProcess Instruments and Chromatotec customers. This agreement is reinforcing their collaboration initiated in 2012 on worldwide sales, maintenance and service provision of online GC-MS equipment with IPI MS integrated as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) by Chromatotec.

With more than 40 years of expertise in the design, manufacturing and sales of online gas analyzers, Chromatotec® is now distributing, integrating and supporting IPI QMS solution for online gas analysis in the respective territories. The two companies are building this distribution partnership at a time when IPI is introducing several new variants of online gas mass spectrometers to the market. The integration of IPI MS in Chromatotec product line allow to complete the process application when online GC cannot meet process requirement with ultra-fast measurement and wide dynamic range from ppb to high % within the same analysis.

“With Chromatotec, we have a partner with broad market knowledge and the commitment to succeed. We are proud that we can establish this partnership”, states Ernst Schroeder, Managing Director of IPI.

Chromatotec® Group from its side has developed over the last decade turnkey stand-alone solutions by auto-GC-FID -MS for online monitoring of volatile organic compounds. These previous developments allow to bring the most advanced technology from the laboratory to the fields with a fully automatic online GCMS. These analyzers allow to monitor up to 123 compounds with expertise from concentrations as low as 1 ppt in indoor or outdoor ambient air. The integration of IPI mass spectrometers offers unique capability to identify unknown compounds with NIST library automatically with embedded software.

“With this partnership with InProcess Instruments, we offer our customers the opportunity to monitor 123 compounds along with sensitive solution and the possibility to make faster analysis with direct mass spectrometry. We also have now possibilities to reach new specific application and take benefits of the entire IPI product line”, underlines Franck Amiet, president of Chromatotec® Group. “All our technical engineers are trained to quadrupole instruments to provide enhanced service for maintenance and technical support”
