ERASPEC - Spectral Fuel Analysis in Seconds

The ERASPEC Multi-Fuel-Analyser easily analyzes your fuel of choice with only one analyser. No matter if it’s gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel or biodiesel/FAME and vegetable oil in diesel - measurements are done within 60 seconds. As a portable stand-alone instrument, it can be used in the lab, in mobile laboratories and in the field.
Fast and easy Measurement in a few seconds
The portable multi-fuel analyser ERASPEC measures a mid-infrared spectrum and delivers highly accurate results for the most important fuel parameters. Only by pushing a button ERASPEC delivers over 100 fuel parameters such as benzene, oxygenates or even complex properties like RON and MON within a few seconds. ERASPEC analyzes also Biodiesel/FAME and vegetable oil in diesel fuel across a range of 0-100 Vol% in full compliance with ASTM D7806 and EN14078.
The AFR Automatic Fuel Recognition Module allows the measurement of unknown samples whether it is gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and starts automatically the correct analysis. For measuring large numbers of samples ERASPEC can be equipped with a 10-position-autosampler. With the built-in-U-tube density meter ERASPEC measures according to ASTM D7777 and ISO 15212.
The measurement procedure doesn’t need any consumables. In not more than 60 seconds the measurement is completed, results are calculated and stored in the internal database. ERASPEC can print the results automatically and transfer them to a LIMS. Exporting the data to Excel is as simple as connecting a USB drive and hitting the export button.
Easy Calculation of complex properties
Key fuel properties such as octane and cetane numbers, distillation fractions and many more are measured using an international database of several hundred fuel samples. Depending on customer requirements this database can easily and comfortably be expanded by the user. Additional samples can be easily added and are immediately available for the next measurement. No complex and time-consuming recalculations are necessary.
On-Site Identification of Gasoline Contamination
ERASPEC is used for measurements at pipeline terminals, refineries and blending stations but also in high-tech fuel analysis. Another great application of ERASPEC is the on-site identification of gasoline contamination. With the Gasoline Contamination Module, you can identify the most common contaminants of gasoline. The leading-edge multiple-cell design guarantees the lowest possible limits of detection by automatically selecting the proper path length for the measurement. Among others governmental bodies use ERASPEC in mobile laboratories directly at the gas stations to test the fuel quality fighting fuel adulteration fraud.
User-friendly Software with direct LIMS Communication
The measurement procedure is done with the intuitive software directly on the instrument’s touchscreen. Only by pushing a button all relevant results are available in seconds. There is no extra software or PC necessary as ERASPEC comes with a direct out-of-the-box connection to LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). Firm- and Software updates are installed simply by connecting a USB stick with the update files and starting the instrument.
