A New Gas Chiller for OEM Applications

Sep 14 2016

Extractive gas analysis systems are often fully sheltered in sealed enclosures. As a result, safety and protection requirements for the installed components are often less stringent than for stand-alone applications, as the enclosed system will be protected by a casing that complies to the necessary regulations, so the analyser’s components will not need to attain the same level of certification. In such circumstances, system integrators and OEM’s need components that are compliant with the reduced standards and easy to install. This will reduce the costs of both maintenance and the actual components themselves. Furthermore, the system’s controls already provide an adequate power supply to serve all of the components, thus eliminating the need for any additional voltage power adaptors.

For this range of applications Bühler has launched the new TC Standard OEM Chiller Series. These units provide the same performance as their TC- Standard Series for stand-alone applications but without the outer protection case. Replaceable heat exchangers, which provide the option of one or two independent gas paths, are available in different materials such as glass, PVDF and stainless steel. The cooling performance is 90 kJ/h, the power supply can be either 24VDC or 230/115V AC with transformer or  switch-mode power supply. The control and display module can be installed remote from the chiller.
