With eralytics’ ERAFLASH flash point testers you can easily determine the flashpoint of your samples. 10 years industry experience as a renowned specialist of CCCFP flash point testing guarantee a solution for nearly every measuring task. Measuring with ERFLASH flash point testers gives equivalent results to ASTM D93 and even outperforms it in terms of reproducibility.
As all ERAFLASH flashpoint testers measure according to the continuously closed cup flash point testing method ASTM D7094 the results show no statistical bias to the ASTM D93/ISO 2719 Pensky Martens methods. Further correlation methods for ISO-Standards ISO 13736, EN ISO 3679, EN ISO 3680 are available as well.
Depending on your measuring task, there are various types of flashpoint testers available. From performing simple measuring routines sample after sample (ERAFLASH) to measure large numbers of samples with a 10-position autosampler ensuring high-throughput measurements (ERAFLASH S10) as well as a model for low-temperature flash point testing with accelerated cooling down to -40 °C (ERAFLASH LT). For the standard model ERAFLASH and ERAFLASH S10 there is also a high temperature extension available.
All types of ERAFLASH are using the innovative intrinsically safe CCCFP – Continuously Closed Cup Flash Point Method ASTM D6450 and D7094 with only 1-2 mL of sample volume. Due to the closed chamber during the whole measurement process the measurement is intrinsically safe with no open flame. This is not only an aspect regarding a safe measurement, it is also very convenient for the operator as unattended measurements do not leave an unpleasant feeling behind.
The very low sample volume (1-2 mL) makes ERAFLASH suitable not only for standard applications but also for special applications such as measurement of valuable samples or hazardous samples. Depending on your industry, with ERAFLASH you can measure a high number of different sample types from fuels, lube oils, paints, varnishes to solvents and many more.
Another great benefit is eralytics patented PBT – Peltier Boost TechnologyTMwhich allows fastest heating and cooling rates. With only one single device this innovative technology supports an unprecedented temperature range and allows significantly shorter turnaround times than all other flash point testers on the market.
In combination with its unrivaled temperature range of -25 to 420 °C (-13 to 788 °F) ERAFLASH is a very cost-efficient tool for big used oil testing facilities all the way to the flavors and fragrances industry.
Suitable for special applications and high-throughput laboratories eralytics developed an innovative cooling lid for ERAFLASH S10. The pre-cooled lid allows easy and time-saving sample preparation. As a consequence, the sample cups are pre-cooled as well what means that no complicate cooling prior sample filling is necessary.
The pre-cooled samples need less intensive cooling during sample measuring, resulting in shorter turn-around times. As no elevated temperatures are reached and volatile compounds are far less likely to evaporate before measurement is started, more precise and reliable results are reached.
