Mercury Monitoring System for Natural Gas
Sep 25 2015
The MMS-NG from Mercury Instruments has been designed for automatic and continuous monitoring of mercury in natural gas and products from natural gas processing. The mercury detector and its accessories, such as a calibrator, are installed in a purged Ex-p enclosure or alternatively in a flameproof Ex-i cabinet. It is approved for use in hazardous zones (zone 1 or zone 2) according to ATEX, IEC or NEC.
The analyser features the well proven UT-3000 Mercury Ultra Tracer and has a wide measuring range (0.001 μg/m³ to 100 μg/m³, with sample dilution system up to 2000 μg/m³). A dedicated sample conditioning system allows the transfer of the sample from the process to the analyser without changing the mercury concentration.
For process control it is often useful to monitor mercury levels at different process points; for example at the inlet and outlet of each mercury removal system. A microprocessor-controlled valve unit enables the measurement of up to 16 channels. Please visit Mercury Instruments at PEFTEC stand 100.
