L &J Technologies (USA) state-of-the-art MCG 1600SFI Radar Gauge is suitable for use in SIL 2 safety applications. This safety performance rating helps you to confidently maintain your safety integrity level designation.

This radar gauge uses Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology for high accuracy and reliable for custody transfer measurement. The 1600SFI is available in a variety of protocols.

This non-contact, non-intrusive unit is also lightweight and explosion proof, with up to six alarm contacts. Its compact design means installation is extremely easy. 

The gauge is UL®, CUL and ATEX approved.   Comprehensive lightning & surge protection is standard.

Smart Flash Technology and a high-speed digital signal processor make the 1600SFI virtually maintenance-free.

Handheld infrared calibration is easy using a local LCD display, so there is no need to remove the cover or use a laptop computer. Infrared access is also available via an optional ground level display. Wireless communication is available.
