New Regulator Provides Adjustable Relief of Excess Pressure

Sep 22 2015

AURA Controls (USA) has introduced a new high-precision back pressure regulator designed to provide adjustable relief of excess pressure in closed loop systems.

The EXB Back Pressure Regulator allows the user to throttle excess pressure from the system caused by spikes in upstream pressure, whereas standard relief devices only provide open and close functions. The dual-surface diaphragm and dynamic cartridge sensing elements increase the accuracy and flexibility of pressure management, providing the user an elevated level of reliability in analytical instrumentation, process control, and pump applications. Likewise, the variable seat material selections ensure durability and purity by eliminating reaction with the media.

Fully configurable to meet the end-users specifications, the EXB is available in pressure ranges from 0 to 500 psig in 316L stainless steel, plated brass, and LumiShield inert and anti-corrosive technology. The metal-to-metal seals provide 1x10?9 helium ccs leak integrity to eliminate sample dilution. Each regulator is assembled in a Class 100 cleanroom, 100% helium- leak checked, and fully flow and function tested to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and durability available.
