Membrane that Physically Separates the Residual Water from Solvent Extracts Generated During Sample Preparation

Aug 06 2013

Used with the Solvent Drying System 101 (SDS) the solvent extract is poured into the SDS glassware, the vacuum is turned on, and the solvent and extract pass through the DryDisk membrane, while the water stays on top. This approach is quick, easy, and effective.

No special preparation; No hazardous waste created; No analyte adsorption losses; Separated water can be re-extracted, if desired.

Wherever your extract comes from, whether liquid- liquid extraction, soxhlet, or solid phase extraction, if it contains residual water, the DryDisk system from Horizon Technology (USA) can help you remove it effectively and efficiently.
