Just Add Gas with Revolutionary Flame Photometer Technology

Feb 16 2013

BWB’s (UK) award winning flame photometers offer unrivalled accuracy, low cost and ease of use for measuring Lithium, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium & Barium in a range of applications, in food and beverage, petrochemical, nuclear power stations, salt and potassium mines and the sugar industry. Innovation in design, manufacture and sales has allowed BWB to set the tone in ion analysis, pushing the boundaries of low temperature flame photometry.

The groundbreaking BWB XP is the only 5-channel flame photometer in the world, offering simultaneous detection and display of all 5 elements. The incorporation of high quality build and unparalleled performance with state-of-the-art technology provides improved accuracy and stability whilst significantly reducing analysis time.

BWB flame photometers have been designed to combat the challenge traditionally faced in photometry such as maintaining flame intensity, consistency in liquid to flame flow rate and pressure to fuel gas flow rate, all of which affect the photometers ability to determine the concentration of metal ions.

Benefits include, analysis in parts per million and a clear, intuitive LCG display - which eliminates the need for specialised training, saving time and money. In addition to logical simplicity, the BWB flame photometers include everything required to use the product straight from the box – just add gas. The built-in air compressor greatly reduces noise and laboratory footprint whilst increasing instrument stability, accuracy and reproducibility. The advanced calibration system allows the BWB photometers to store calibration data and perform multi-mode calibrations reducing analysis time by up to 65%.

BWB’s series of flame photometer products, and accessories far exceed existing expectations in terms of specification, usability, accuracy, reporting, build quality and value for money.
